My name is Laura Scott. I am a 4th generation quilter and have had a need to express myself artistically  since I was very young.  I’ve made many connections through classes, workshops, and galleries which have helped me define my art and voice!  When I found the art of quilting I knew that was something unique and special; quilts have a long history in our nation and have many textures, colors, patterns to incorporate.  

 

 Many things are uncertain in life and art is a way for me to share my experiences with my followers.  My handcrafted art evokes emotions, healing, and strength. I’ve found it affirming to share my experiences by creating connections with my community through thread and paint.  I have chosen to use bold colors and create without holding back and my art is taking me on an amazing creative journey!

LECTURES
